well i didn't choose my childhood....I saw Tarzan almost naked, Cinderella stayed out til gone midnight, Pinocchio told lies, Aladdin was a thief, Batman drove at over 200mph, Snow White lived with seven men, Popeye smoked a pipe and had tatoos, Pacman ran around to digital music whilst eating performance enhancing pills, Shaggy & Scooby were mystery solving hippies that always had the munchies, Noddy always slept with Big Ears, everyone in Magic Roundabout was always stoned........is it really my fault?
The first book I remember reading was about an elephant that could fly:I followed by an Enid Blyton book that got banned called 'The Three Golliwogs' :I
Ok, I can accept most of them as being part of your childhood, but Pacman? You would have been at least a teenager by the time Pacman emerged and you would only have access to Pacman in arcades. By the time it was available on home consoles you would have been an adult!
You will have noticed that I said adult rather than grown-up [}]
