Just digging out Jessica's V5 so I can get her taxed ready for winter [!], I noticed she has had 12 - yes TWELVE previous keepers... whats wrong with her?!!
she was only born in 1976 so thats .... 32 years... thats only 2 years and 8 months each? She's like the littlest Commer hobo....http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0078644/
have some piccies for your trouble...
and a picture of a vulcan... (a bit random I know but I like it)
bet they don't have so many owners on their V5s...
Harrier sounds practical, could just about land it in the garden - have to remember to move the phone line first:I
Love the Vulcans - lived in the flight path of Brawdy Air Base while it was still RAF and they'd have the occasional visit from a Vulcan - what a fabulous noise and beautiful aircraft - there's a lovely one at the excellent Cosford Museum (thoroughly recommended - wonder if they fancy a Commer meet there sometime)
here,s one you cant have, as there is none left
a westland whirlwind, built pre ww2 and incredibly advanced, first aircraft to have twin engines,4x 20mm cannon, bubble canopy, leading edge radiators and high tailplane. and faster than the spit 1. they only made about 300 [V]
"you were only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off no.3"

I wonder if there was a bulb to squeeze to remove trapped moisture?..
12 owners. well you know that means that you now have to keep her for ever and ever and ever. if not she will end up with sever abandonment issues, plagued by self doubt and low self esteem, surely you wouldn't want all that on your conscience
