Smurfette's adventures!!!!

you could get some serious ICE in the back if you threw out all the camping gear :D

"you were only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off no.3"

How dissapointing :(

After a 14 hour day at work, I came home to an excited Cazz, having got hook up cables!

Not wanting to let her down, I spent an hour under Smurf with a table lamp for company changing the wrong 'sex' power socket...it still doesn't work:(:(

Yes there is.......just got too dark to see in the end, actually there is 3 switches, 2 are fuses i think[?]

I'm afraid I started getting tetchy with it and so called it a day in favour of hot food lol

caz/colin
we didnt touch the hook up electrics as the previus owner said he had just replaced them and were all working, isnt there a fuse board inside one of the rear cupboards?
you are using the hook up on the right side of the rear step blue top i think?
all the internal lights work off the normal battery.i think it was the little switch behind the drivers seat

sorry to but in guys, hi steve did you get my email the other day about the hilman avenger stuff that i can get you, front wings rear wheel arches bonnets ect, all brand new.:p

Thanks steve, its all sorted now anyway and is just great....
Went out to Baiter Park nr Poole Quay today and made coffee, and watched everyone getting wind swept while we stayed cosy :D
Bless her, she looked so cute parked inbetween these £20000 ++++ mobile campers :D

Cazz... student commerade!!!!

We need to get some halogen ones really, but these will hopefully be ok for now :D

Cazz... student commerade!!!!

Suupa[^] I doubt if you will manage to dazzle anyone coming the other way but it is quite nice to have the lights pointing in the general direction of the road, to frighten away bunnies and hedgehogs and stuff :I

Hi Panky

I got the old ones off and checked all the wiring for snags, put a volt meter on the cables which read 12v when switched on, I also put the volt meter on again with the engine running just to see if maybe the voltage would shoot up, but it all seems ok.

The lights Steve had put on were brand new so def a mystery why they blew[?] The ones I put on are second hand Mini ones, one of which is broken inside (the little deflector thingy is rattling around inside lol) so we will probably blind everyone lol

will have to have a look on ebay or somewhere I guess to find some halogen ones

Congrats on the Mini it looks fab[^]

Panky[?] would these be the correct headlights[?] although they appear by the description to have integral side lights

I actually had the chance to drive smurfette for the 1st time on Monday... had a baby sitter for the little one.. and was taken out for a driving lesson lol.. well thats what it felt like.
I only past my test year and a half ago, and have driven an automatic for a year of that, so was scared that i wouldn't be able to drive her... but i was quite pleased and did ok. My arms killed though once i managed to park her on the drive without the power steering lol, braking is also a very different story... do they actually work, seems to take an age to stop
