thanks John, was you said 2 1/2 pints I thought? I will sort that in the morning....may sound silly, but it all goes in the one filler right?

I only got about 1/4 pint out of the old box (smurfs)

I must have miss-typed - 4 1/2 pints in the same hole, just give it a bit of time to ooze through to the OD

well, it's had overnight to drain through to the overdrive lol

I actually thought it was very easy to get the oil in, contrary to popular opinion....I just measured it into an old 2-stroke plastic oil bottle with one of those pull out extention bits in the top, just wedged it up and let it drain away:D

If I told you I was a pathological liar, would you believe me?
Peggy's got an MOT !!! (not a lie)

just spent time 'fettling' I think Panky calls it....working out how to route the exhaust. The pic shows just how straight it will be. one cut to make and the bend will go apprx as is straight onto the downpipe. just got to get a couple of clamps. Hopefully either monday or Tuesday it will be in place:D I am not chancing my lack of welding skills on this so a mate will be doing the honours for me:D

had it balancing on trolley jacks and axle stands and tied up with bits of wire to make sure it will not clonk on anything, have made up and fitted a couple of decent hangers with rubber mounts which are now fitted in readtness:D

ta! the welding bit is the scary bit, hence i am not doing it:I

it will go diagonally just between bellhousing and box and then out next to the back wheel at 45 to the van:D

That's the easies rout and the slimline resonator box shouldn't get in the way too much. A normal twin box system would hang a bit low doing it that way. Que examples otherwise:I

Did Oliver lend you the little blue truck to help out:)

Yes, it wouldn't make any difference.....I will take more pics once welded in place....I am putting a U clamp where you can see parcel tape on the pipe so I can take the silencer on and off if required:D

It is a FORD part no. 1130825 pipe - exhaust RR

Don't know how much I bagged it for free from my welding mate:D
