It's full of needle rollers so they must have rusted up through lack of grease, they will be forming there own orrible grinding paste now[xx(] UJ's are cheap enough and easy to replace - it'll be worth it.

Hmmm...it doesn't look like that in the book and it's not like the one I changed. Is the circular indentation on the yoke part of the casting or is it a dust cover?

it looks a slightly different colour but hard to tell if its actually part of the casting...

The 2 little bumps look like blobs of solder

i will have to get the book out and look how it is in there...

I think it could be a dust cover but is either welded or soldered to hold it in place?

Anyone else got any ideas??
