haven't started her since, just haven't had time, Cazz said we are going away even if we have tow Smurf to the campsite with my work van lol

I'm looking forward to getting the MOT ut of the way and just playing around with her...

Is it easy enough to set up a liesure battery?? Is there any pics or diagrams on here?

Got back from Wareham earlier today, really good weekend, nice and peaceful with no children :) took a few pictures... Some interesting scenery in Wareham forest, but will share those in another thread [?]:D

Just about made it to the site, but she'd had enough when we arrived, lol... we think Carb probs, as Colin did the hand thing, Panky and was fine again....

Found this in the forest, and thought Panky might like it :D

Note the writing, as we were enjoying a child free weekend thought it was funny... Fantastic pub called the Silent Women, very friendly and food was amazing

Cazz...Is smiling again, as Smurf is on the mend!!!!

And of course forgot to add, Smurf decided to be naughty this morning, and didn't want to leave and refused to start lol... oh dear i thought, not again :I Took half hr or so and some wet start and what ever else colin did lol, and off we went.

Cazz...Is smiling again, as Smurf is on the mend!!!!

Finally, I got round to sealing my leaky manifild and put a webber carb on...

OMG what a difference it has made...it's the first time it has run properly since we broke down on the way to Cambridge:D

In fact it runs better than ever!

Only went round the block a couple of times, Cazz couldn't believe it

really can't wait to get the overdrive in and exhaust done now!

I remember she did a splendid job on the water pump and just assumed she decided to fix Smurf again;)

she was far too busy buying a wardrobe of clothes for her xmas do lol! thats how I managed to find the time....

last night was like being at a fashion show with Gok Wan (her sister) and friends round as the audience/judges

''too shoort/too long/too revealing/not revealing enough/that top/those boots/those shoes.....got to bed at 4.30am[|)][|)]

haven't got a picture yet but after braving the bitter cold today, Smurf now has 3 seats in the front YAY![8D]

''COMMER'EnSayThat''

You've been busy - hopefully you can still get the engine cover up so you can tinker;)

haven't tried yet coz it was getting dark but I doubt it, I will probably put the same kind of catches that Tim used so the engine cover can be easily removed....

had to put new foam in the seat as it was rotten!

''COMMER'EnSayThat''

I'm thinking of moving the battery from behind the passenger seat to under the floor, where I notice most seem to be...seems a bit of a shame to be cutting a hole in a perfectly good floor but it will make more room ...we are going to have a rethink on the bed, see if we can make it a bit bigger:)

''COMMER'EnSayThat''

Good idea - they did it from new so don't feel too bad about cutting good metal out. The passenger footwell seems to be the favoured position. One less bit of floor to get rusty:)
