Sleeping In a Commer.

Hi all,

My Dad is sceptical that the transverse bed in a Commer will be anywhere near 6 foot long, so how long exactly is it?

Cheers

Will

Get a Highwayman, the transversebed is about 6' and the 'long' one is well over 6'. I'm 6'2" and have no trouble in the 'long' one.

auto sleeper bed was ok when I was single with a couple of dogs, things got a bit tight when joined at the hip(two of us)so we added the bench seat & removed the bulk head [:0]super king size was cool [^]
now we prefer the colonels bed to any other bed any where, similar size to Bazzateer's peggy.you can arrange your interior to suit your needs.

PS when you put the cushions down to a bed you use the sides of the van which bulge out ( ) making it slightly bigger than you would expect ;)

Ahh right cheers,

I'm specificity looking for the length of the bed in a auto sleeper, What are the logistics of getting a bench seat?

Cheers

Andy (Thowman on here) has bench seats in Babs which he was planning to replace with individual seats. He may sell his bench?

Cheers, It isn't worth me looking for one now though as I don't have a commer.

So does anyone know how long an autosleeper bed is?

Will

I'm just under 6' and I found the crossways bed too small, so as part of the rebuild of the interior, we are having a lengthways bad!

I'm a big lump and a gnats whisker off 6' - I find the Autosleeper bed very comfy and manage fine. A bit snug but I can do with out a king sized bed for a few nights:)

I'm 6'2" tall and manage in the autosleeper. I have lost a little bed space with the seatbelts, and of course things are different when the wife is there too! (before you ask she is real...)

What do you want to sleep for? Its all about the party ;)

There are some certain advantages to being 5'8". Now I discovered that you have to fold those bits of wood down to get the full width of the bed, I can fit across the bed without having to sleep diagonally - so there is room for a Mrs T, should one be mad enough to accept my offer of a tour in my camper. However, I think I am right on the limit of being too tall, and I will damage my forehead on the bottom of the window if I get up too quickly.

I know what you mean. Also you can see under the bottom of the curtains when you are lying down which is really annoying!
