I just increased our bed to 6ft4, my legs no longer dangle over the end;-) Seems you are just up the road from us in Grantham?

If it is an Autosleeper there are 'headboards' that fold down and give a 6 foot long bed across the van. I'm a smidgen under 6' and find it one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in[|)]
