How did they compare when fully compressed [?]
It,s unlikely that they will stiffen it up, as that,s the springs job, but they should damp out the spring oscillations and stop the bounce

on full drop they came in close enough not to worry or cause a prob, I think they fell short about 1/2 an inch

yes, when both were compressed next to one an other the Hiluz ones were around half inch longer.

Hi dan I've had a look on the site you posted and the shocks I got seem to match up but Tim ( racer ) will let us all no soon enough as they will be arriving at his place any day now

9 1/2" fully compressed ( same as commer )
Much stiffer in compression.

They are the same compressed length Austin, so they should cope with sensible lowering
Have you thought about getting the Goodridge man to sort the Commer hoses [?]
