Shock absorbers

Hello everyone, just to be sure am I fitting this shock absorbers correctly because they weren’t on when I brought it !, I think they can only go one way but I want to be sure. Thanks neil.

I did ‘The Panky’ on mine - firmed up my back end nicely

I Wish !!, So found a little puddle of oil under one of my shock absorbers today talk about one step forward and two back, has anyone took the arm off one and changed the oil seal if so any tips on doing the job ?,

Not something I've attempted, you'll need a good press to get the arm off

I have to admit it hasn't been 100% successful though. Still get the odd drip.
I think there are people who will refurb them for you, but don't have any info on that.

I used this company to refurb some Luvax ones from a pre-war car about five years ago! The work was really impressive, (all four were leaking and one had seized and sheared the end off a piston) http://www.vintageandclassicshockabsorbers.co.uk/. If I remember rightly, the price wasn't too terrible!
