Seized Engine

Just bought a dodge Spacevan an ex BT van, the engine is seized owing to being left in a barn for twenty years, what is the availability of a recon engine or second hand unit or do I try to unseize the old unit thanks Mike

First off congratulations on your purchase - nice:cool: You could try pouring diesel down the bores and leaving it for a couple of weeks but new short engines are available on ebay for about £400, failing that a known good used engine would be an economical choice, Martin Maltas could possibly help as he has lots of spares.
 
Good used engines are hard to come by at the moment, I can do full and short recon units and new old stock block/ crank and pistons are available on eBay.
