I’m just considering my options for seating arrangements. At present there are only 3 off us - well 2 and a very small one - and the easiest option seems to be a bench type seat in the front.

Is this possible and if so does anyone know where I might find the missing seat?

my first van had same seats as yours and had middle one to match - which mounted on top of engine cover. Sadly I don't still have the seats so can't help on that front. The lower photo is what my current van has which comprise of separate cushions - the back ones lean against a fold down wood panel.They are pretty uncomfy so if you can track down a middle seat like yours with mounts it should make for a more pleasant driving experience:)

Mine has the three seats in the front but as the front cab bed arrangement that has a frame round which the middle seat base sits in and the back rests clip to the top of a rear woodern rest.
The whole frame hinges forward.
I agree that the middle seat does get uncomfortable and only has a lap belt so a child seat won't fit in it.
If you search under Rear Seat belts on the forum one member made up some three point seat belts that fitted to the front facing seating arrangements on the rear table seats.
 
I was considering a bench seat but on second thoughts,how easy is it to access the engine? especially when packed with family & camping stuff.
I know wher there are six commers previously used as psv's they all seem to have 3 seats up front,middle one simply bolts to engine lid,surely you could do the same with a child seat?(but speak to the experts first)

Thanks guys, i've read Ruperts thread on rear seating which is really helpful and I think will be the long term solution. For the time being if anyone has any pictures of a 3 front seat arrangement and how they're fitted that would be great (any ideas on seatbelt solutions as well). Can't wait to take the family out in it!

a simple solution would be to have the baby seat in the passenger seat and the wife in the middle seat! (when you get a middle seat!)

I noticed that modern autosleepers can have an upper seatbelt mount in the roof, but thats probably no use to us!
