I have noticed that Scooters have come up now and then in conversation here, and wondered what scooters people have? As I have a few and am in the process of trying to find a Vespa 150 Super (dont ask why) any one got one for sale?? on 8inch wheels.

Look forward to finding out what you have.

I have just had a couple here this afternoon, from Castleford. They have scooters and want a Commer to trailer them with :)

I've owned my Series 3 Lambretta Li 150 Special for a good 11 years now. In that time it's never graced the public highways and amazingly for me, a digital photograph (it's well tucked away!). When I've got a decent garage the restoration will start, but it's got a couple of old cars competing for attention!
 
my mate lives in italy now and has a couple of 80s vespas (underappreciated over there)

I have fully restored 2 1970's Motobecane X1's or Mobyx mopeds as they are sometimes called. They both run nicely and now need to go through the registration process and MOT's. I have had enough parts left over to build a third and all that one needs in a twist throttle grip, (I've ordered one from the USA) and there will be three! I am going to build a rack for the commer and Helen and I can have a his and hers!
They are great as you can ride to the pub on the motor and if necessary pedal them back!
I am now looking for a Cyclemaster to add to the collection:)

Mobyx I know them very cool sweet little things love the bodywork on them, cant wait to see them on the back of your Commer next Summer..

Oh no, I reckon you should put them on,they look great, or at least get them made ready, just in case you have a sudden leaning towards 70s styling and maybe fashion..

You're probably right about the stripes, I'll take on board the suggestion of having them ready I case I become one of those 118 118 blokes!!:)
 
a friend of mine has a really really early vespa dateing from 1959 i think he said looks absolutly brilliant.i will try to get a piccy of it tomorrow to show you.;):p
 
Hi guys
we are the couple from castleford that visited martinmalta....we have a lambretta L1 125, GP and a 150 special then we have a vespa 200 PXE... we do plenty of rallys and events and a commer would just fit the scene...not only that if the lambretta breaks down...haha we can put it in or behind the van...
looking forward in meeting the rest of you guys as it seems you do the same thing as the scooter scene....

i have a rally 200 a T5 a cosa 3 lambrettas and a nsu prema
i have had a few 150 supers and i think they are one of the best vespas ever made i have a mate who has a few supers dont know if he wants to sell any
 
My first motorised transport was a Lambretta LI 150[8D] I only got it because the Honda CB250 I really wanted was £40 and I got the scooter for £12:II sold it for £20 six months later[^]
Not long after I saw the guy who bought it - walking - apparently the carb fell off and hit the (unguarded) flywheel......nasty[xx(]
My lasting memory of 'Bessie' as it was affectionately known was when the back wheel fell off just as I was trying to look cool in front of the local females[V]

We used to get picked on by the local 'mods' just because we had 'real' motorbikes and sensible leathers!! [:0]

had a lambretta once that me & my mates used to drive in the woods when we was about 15 lol, was great fun...those little wheels are dangerous aren't they!

not at all i used to race them 100mph on one that was fun
ps i was never a mod and never will be;)
