hi woolfy,quite like her as she is :D doesnt look like the pic's on ebay does she! she' really growing on me.looks like martin found my home page by typing in browser.i am sure i will be in touch in the not too distant future,no progress yet,too many other things going on [}:)]
 
I've been away for a day and look what's happened, all sorts of stuff going on. Good to see 030307 has finally landed, looks like you've got your work cut out for you but by the look of your fleet I doubt that phases you, I can see a few must have had the treatment before. Love the Minis [^], the pick-up has an interesting bonnet what lurks beneath. [}:)]
 
hey panky,thanks for the encouragment we need it on this one aaaaahhhh [:0]the play girl mini is for the daughter lucky little girl ,the pick-up is his,but i am on the ins,have n't sat in it yet [}:)] under the bonnet lurks 2ltr vauxhall 16 valve red top i think that's right[}:)] i now know what they mean "life's too short" cheers chris :D
 
Crikey, makes my plans seem a little tame but that's another story :). Its a shame about the woodworm but they know quality timber when they see it. The interior defo looks like Autosleeper and they were renowned for making a good job [^].
 
i don't think too much damage to the interior in the nik of time...hopefully,yes i think it's autosleeper.she's got a couple of medals on the exterior i had not seen them till today, more worried about my chassis [:0]
 
I was lucky enough to have had the lower fluted panels replaced before I got mine (rear quarters are Dodge though with extra hole for BIG bumpers)but the rear floor and front footwells were shot. Not one for being a slave to originality (and no woolfy on the horizon) I simply cut out the rot and welded in flat panels. Spring hanger sections were bent in the Workmate. It may seem daunting but if I can do it you and yours certainly can :D:D.
 
hi there chris dont panic i can make you some rear floor section if needed to match the original, all you have to do is get hubby to mesure the area required or whats rotted away and then ask me nicely and il make it for you, also i can make you any bit of the chassey as ive borrowed the originals from mart and im in the middle of making three sets of them,dont worry mart you will soon have them back old chum.

if you look on one of the other topics under floor pans you will see the ones i made about a month ago they are **** hot mate, and yes i can make you a front lower valance ,ive already got a few other people waiting to see me unvale one on here and want one made for themselves ,but at this moment in time im trying to make those inner chassey parts ,but i will try to get a valance made in the next week or so ok.:D:)
 
as for it could have been me ,if you saw mine you would be crying as shes as rotten as a pair,i havent got any floorpans in mine at the moment as they have rotted away.:D[xx(]
 
your just gonna have to start on one bit and make your way around the van as and when you can afford it, just like me.:D
 
the sooner we can afford it,the better,i want this baby on the road,now concidering selling my bsa a65 not standard,not for the purist any one interested ?
 
tim's had a look today he say's "it's a hell of a lot of work" :( missing radiator cap, fuel cap, 2 ht leads,battery,minor details.another carrier bag of rust swept up after he went round kicking it [:(!] but he's been out there,so he won't be able to resist another go another day ;) will keep you posted :D

hi admin,this way i have another van for resto or plenty spares :D i might get him to teach me to weld then i can teach my son to weld or perhaps he will ask to be shown how to weld [8D] maybe we will end up with two nice vans one day :)i did not buy this one,the guy is having my bsa just hope does n't up-set tim toooo much [V]
