Sadly my Commer PA has to go.

Or another suggestion....

Why couldn't some of us help him out?

A couple of seatbelts, captive nut mounting plates (which don't cost much or can be made) and an hour or two of someones time (welding etc)?

I understand that there would be more in it than that, but at least the van would stay with a forum member. (and I also love the van!)

I will check to see if I still have some inertia belts licking about ;)

Its not as complicated as everyone thinks, we have vans here with the solution. you take a section out of the middle of the base board of each bench so passengers feet go into the locker underneath, the person is then facing forward and has his back to the worktops each side. the cushions need to be split in to three sections and the piece you take out for the feet then becomes the backrest and the seat belt is just a normal upright post and three point belt that most after market belt people supply. The other benefit is when the board and cushion is put back down it all looks original! I could email pics if anyone wants more help.:)[8D]

I started this life with nothing, i still have most of it!

^^ email them to ReadingFlynn before it's too late!
