That is very sad, but not a first.
When one of my friends (who was a steam fanatic) died much too young, his wife wanted his coffin to be carried on a steam engine. When she couldn't arrange that, I was honoured to be asked if he could be carried on my Karrier Bantam. His wicker coffin was duly loaded up, but it rained cats and dogs all day. The cloth lining (and whatever else) in the coffin got absolutely saturated, and dripped all over the church floor. The alternator on the truck comprehensively burned out, and we just made it on battery power. Glad I didn't have to call the AA! Interestingly my insurance company were quite OK with wedding use, but I had to do some pursuading to let me use it for a funeral.
