rust.

Hi everyone, i have found a little bit of rust on my commer. What is the best cause of action for putting it right. The inside is almost ready now for my new cupboards to go in and for a lick of paint. I went to my local resource centre and picked some lovely fabric for my cushions and curtains, all of the curtains and six cushions for £4.00 bargain.

Andrew.

Depends how bad it is, but clean up and phosphoric acid treat it will neutralise it. Then some decent primer/paint :)

I use Aquasteel, used by the marine industry for underwater application. Converts the rust and leaves a tough coating.

Good stuff is Aquasteel, I splurged it all over the place on Harvey.
