Well, lost one hubcap on the way to the ferry!

Today the oil pressure switch has stopped working! Have got oil round the engine though.

Presently sat at the side of the nore river three miles outside of thomastown overlooking a fabulous bridge.

It's hot!

BBQ later this evening.

The back roads are the way to go across here.

Hubcap was one of the dented ones that was due to be replaced before tatton!

Oil pressure switch now working!

Just outside Kilkenny in a very famil#375; friendly campsite.

Rupert could fit inside some of the other campers here but I like to think he has more style!

Looks like you have a nice set up there. Loving that awning. where did you get it?

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.

It's a darksiider one from just campers. Fits along the rail.

Not sure if its still available, I got this from ebay!

Very easy to put up and quite light compared to the original sixties one I have!

After 700 miles in ten days we are back.

Saw some amazing scenery and had some fantastic times, Ireland is a great place even though someone tried to steal the van, caught them in the act!

Kilkenny was a firm favourite!

Finished our road tip with a nice cup of tea

One thing that I will never forget was when a man came up to us in a car park in adare in tears, then relayed the story of his father dying at work on the commer assembly line!

He didn't realise the following that commers have now, eventually Rupert put a smile on his face!

What a glorious site, Rupert looking longingly at the Irish countryside knowing that in a few short hours he will be heading home to the equally glorious views in Pembrokeshire
I hope you assisted the little pikey git along on his way in a firm but fair manner considering the gravity of his potential crime

For those of you out there with an engineering background check out channel five tonight at 2100. As head of engineering, for the cheesegrater, it is the main reason why I had no time for Rupert recently and in the near future. It may be built but there is a long way to go to get it up and running! If any of you fine people are in london and want a closer look then drop me a line on here for the private tour.

I know my commer ownership is not over as we miss him massively already.
