running problems

Hi Everybody.The Commer Ambulance needs some help.Well ive done the sraight through exshaust.The KN.Air filter,Electronic ignition.The problem is it keeps cutting out ,all the time.I am going to get a webber next.Has anyone who has done all this come across problems? Because by altering all these things the set up is going to be different,isnt it.Oh thanks for all your help Martin.

Any evidence of crud in the fuel pump?

Fit a fuel filter between the tank and the pump. Strip the pump and carb to clean out all crud then try again. If you still have problems try blowing down the fuel line toeards the tank to ensure the tank outlet is clear. Did this a few times with my Imp and eventually it stayed clear.

Could be that now you have changed exhaust/filter its altered the signal to the carb, try slightly richening it on the mixture screw :)
