I took a punt on some rather nice genuine early SD1 wheel trims to see if they fitted the Commer, as I understand the SD1 wheels themselves will fit the Commer.

I'd forgotten that we're running on 15" wheels and the trims are 14", so no definately no good for us. If somebody knows whether they'll fit the Commer 14" wheels and wants them, then they're available for what they cost me - £20 for the set of four. A bit grubby and some slight paint loss but no rust (hence the stainless guess) or kerbing damage, I've wiped over the worst one and in less than 10 minutes it came up so much nicer - most disappointed they're not 15" trims :(

might be a bit of a struggle to get them on the moggy rupert, one too many studs [xx(]

I have no idea what they look like! Are they full wheel wheel trim things or just rims around the outside of the wheel?

I'll leave the minor with 4 studs for the time being :I

they are stainless and a full wheel trim, a little bit like rostyles :)

(toes are model's own ;))

They have springs on the reverse of each hole so not sure whether on the Rover they have special bolts or something. May interfere with Commer fitment, just thought it worth a mention.

These trims are still available, other than the points made in my original post I've no idea other than the SD1 source etc

A real shame they're only 14" as we're running 15" wheels, I think these would really look the business on Hunny :(
