Rootes Garage

No, not seen this one before. Any idea of the date, looks like early 60's. Lovely selection on show, I wonder how those prices would compare with todays, accounting for inflation?
 
No idea of a date I am afraid. I do love period photos like these though. Practical Classics often has a good period photo in it for car spotting.
 
My parents local family garage has old rootes signage behind new and the owner remembers servicing the local commer bread van etc

Thats great. Part of the pleasure of owning older vehicles I think, are the memories they bring back to others when they see them :)
 
I live 150miles away. It was only by chance that I took mums car in and was chatting to them that it came to light
