Rewiring Commer PB Thanks to Andy

Just before the Whit weekend We phoned and ask if Andy Thowman (your very own Commer Van Fan member)if he could help (we were catching fire to often)We needed a new Loom badly, Not only did Andy say he would MAKE a NEW Loom he would make a Modern Loom with relays and fuses for each item !!!! (New Modern Na wouldn't work on a Commer couldn't be done ! Could it?? AND he would come and help fit , We had a big show coming up and he put himself out to make and help fit , We don't have to travel with 2 fire extinguishers in the front anymore (as the key switch had twice burnt out ) coming home today on a long run M23 M25 M20 it was great to have a feel of a "Cool" key switch !! Had a few friends look and cant believe the great job , Many Many Thanks Andy Your worth your weight in Gold , Reg Dover

Hi Reg

Thanks very much for the endorsement. It was a pleasure to see your collection, and I could have spent a lot more time in your sheds. I know a particular person on this forum would certainly have garage envy. It took a bit longer than expected, what with the duff speedy overdrive wiring instructions, but we got there in the end. Glad to hear that she's running great.

Maybe see you on my way to the Alps next month?
