Rev counter position

I`m thinking of fitting a rev counter to the van. The wiring will be simple enough so my question is.. Where is the best place to fit one that wont look stupid? Various units are available, most fit in a dash top pod but will be too modern. I have found one that could fit in the dash replacing the voltmeter, It has a voltmeter built into it too. The only downside is it is a LED display not a needle.
I don`t want to cut any holes if poss. Any suggestions?

2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.

The voltmeter replacement sounds ideal but I do like the dashtop pods[8D]

I could also get a direct replacement gauge with a needle but then the voltmeter will need to go. I don't suppose it will be needed.. Voltmeters are only really needed for dynamo systems.

I don't mind mixing the modern with the classic, a little LED glow in the cab would be rather cool[8D] But if you can get a matching gauge that would be cool too:)

Just don't get a cheap one, as they can be extremely inaccurate ;)

Thanks for the heads up.
Any that you would recommend Tim? Bearing in mind I`m not running a race tuned V8 :p
