This week will be my last week of three weeks trying to get Jimmy finished. There is a lot of work still to be done which is worrying as I have to be out of my friends work shop by then leaving Jimmy open to the elements. So making sure he's top coated and sealed up is imperative. He is sitting in a full primer coat which is the first time he's been one colour since I've had him. Hopefully I will be able to send some completion photos soon.... Fingers and toes crossed lol

I'm in a similar position but I've got a Quictent garage as below to keep our Commer in whilst I make it water tight, cost around £200 IIRc
Nice and high to accommodate my original high top too !
Using 8 old water distilled barrels, filled with tap water, I'm using ratchet straps to hold it down at each upright. Unlikely to withstand the strongest winds but has space and plenty light to work with.

Ummm don’t want to be the first person to mention this but did you check the vin number with the log book when you bought it as I don’t think that’s a Commer. Nice cover though

I do not think so , but i'm no stranger to the misery. I have a 36 ford coupe i'm in my 7th year of metalwork on.

Cool I would love to see some photos. My other project is a 74 mgb gt. A lot more mainstream its just that I've always loved them. You are very lucky to have that ford as they to are awesome.
