Removing hub caps?

Hi, I hope everyone is well. It's properly easy to do but how do you remove the silver hubcaps on my commer. I am going to paint my wheels so I want yo take them off.

Hitting a speed bump at 30 does it for me...failing that pop them off with a wide flat blade screw driver, bit of cloth over it should stop any damage.

I used a plastic bicycle tyre lever last time, so as not to damage my newish paint

Why do you need to remove them to paint the wheels why not just paint round them and save paint.
