Removing Headlights, Sidelights etc

I feel like I am asking way too many questions now [B)]

How do I disconnect the headlights, sidelights and indicators?

Is it just a case of snipping the wires to later put on connectors [xx(] I am bamboozled.

The headlight sealed beam units have a block connector at the back, you will need to loosen off the alignment adjusters and release the spring holding the unit in. The side lights and indicators are held in with self-tappers and the wiring is joined with bullet connectors - just follow them back and you'll find them.

I agree!

Its just the same as a mini/morris minor.

The sidelight "bowls" are fitted with self tappers in three places and the wires can be unhooked from inside.

No such thing as too many questions - just too many(wrong) answers!

Thanks for the info!

I did try and feel back along the sidelight wires and didn't come across anything, but I didn't know for definate whether I was looking in the wrong place. Are the connectors just up into the shielding a little bit then?

The wires are about 18" long and the connectors are near the centre of the van under the heater.

No I think they are bullet connectors much further back, try removing the sidelight bowls, then wiggling it and watcing the wires that move (not very helpfull I know - but it worked for me!)
