removing front grill

This is just a start, no doubt there will be many more posts like this but here goes.

How do you get the front grill off? The surround bit was easily enough screwed off, but there are little rusty clips and we can't make how they're secured. They seem to be riveted to something but we don't want to damage anything.

You need to drill the rivets out to remove the clips and then the grill falls off, not a brilliant way of fixing it to the van but once you have removed it you can replace the clips useing self tapping screws and then resecure the grill. :D
 
did you manage to find the correct clips [?]
where they the 15mm or the 14.8 mm I need to buy some to put my grill trim back on

I managed to re- use the ones I had (one managed to loose itself in the garage though!)

I tried my old clips but the bottom tim comes loose, I doe not whant to risk loosing it, looked ay the clips on the website and they are slightly different

Mine are still off so I'll measure them up next time I see the Commer (it lives at a friend's house) but how do you measure them? I mean if that's the width I can't see it making any difference which one you use.
