Removing bonnet.

Hi I was just wondering how I remove my commers bonnet. I need to take the commer letters off so I can prep it. Do I adjust the screws and move it forward?

Erm a Commer doesn't have a bonnet, do you mean the grille:I

Not sure obviously not the bonnet then, the front of the commer where the commers letters are.

If I can't remove the front,how do I take the letters off, or do they not come off?

The Commer letters have pins sticking out of the back of them that fit into holes drilled into the panel. If you carefully push a flat blade scraper under the letters you should be able to prise them out.

Eerm? ...just pull the letters off and paint away! .....or if you really want to remove 'that' panel, hire some cutting gear or a big grinder

If you need to take the little grille of above the letters its held on by to nuts inside the cab, they are a bit awkward to get to but they are up either side of the heater.

Yeah, be careful as Panky says ...get someone to help you remove that top grille ....they break quite easy if you try and force them
