Recommended Campsites

As suggested by StudioCommer, I'm kicking off a camp site recommendations recommended sites thread. Feel free to add anything you like.

Last weekend we stayed at The Walled Garden Caravan site http://www.walledgardencp.co.uk/ It is about 10 miles outside Ayr on the West Coast of Scotland. Its a lovely quiet site with good facilities, in a really pretty part of the country.

so what do you recommend? :D

Haven't actually stayed in any campsites in Pembrokeshire as I have some nice free spots tucked around the place but have tried a few over the years in Lincolnshire one favourite being Lincolnshire Lanes in Spridlington near Lincoln

Owner really friendly and helpful with us and is a quiet family run farm site with small animal area, just guard your footballs - Flick the dog is great fun and has the kids in stitches, we haven't bought an intact football home with us yet:D Red arrows based nearby so if you're there on a monday you often get a flypast in formation when they practice[8D]

Sounds like Charlie Commers' Tewkesbury site is a good spot too?

Don't really do "sites", prefer Caravan Club CLs, but I can highly recommend Wareham Forest Park in Dorset. wonderful dog walks, straight off the site into miles of forest. Nice big spacious pitches too, and there appeared to be no pitches for tent, they just went where they liked in the clearings in the trees.
However, for peace and quiet, for CC members only, try the Leen Farm, Pembridge, near Leominster.
Up north, Caravan and Camping club hideaway site at North Dykes farm, Salkeld Dyke, near Penrith, 5 miles from J40, M6.
These last two are my secret hidey holes, so don't tell anyone else about them!
