Recommendation for Rad Recore ?

Anyone got any tips on a re-core merchant?
Who should I use, any recommendations, the Commer rad seems more complicated than most and the structure contains the throttle guide, so any old alternative rad wont do.
I havent had a rad re-core done for years and my old supplier Old Kent Road Radiators appears to have turned into a phone shop.

Hi Jules,

If you call GM Radiators who actually make the cores, they can advise you of their supplier(s) in your area. Their suppliers order the core from GM and fit to your radiator tanks, repairing if required and finally pressure test etc.

The core from GM Radiators seems very good and a good match to the original Commer spec.

I did use my original Commer tanks so the throttle fixing wasn't an issue, if you don't have any tanks for refurbishment you might be best seeking a secondhand unit for recoring.

There is a Radiator firm in Southampton called South Coast Radiators I think.
They operate out of a garage under a bridge and they seem to be able to re-core everything from classic cars to fork lift trucks.

There's a very good bloke in Camden Rd,Tonbridge wells but i can't find his business card at the moment.I am going to need one doing myself in the v/near future so i need to find it. Quite a few of the Imp guys have had high efficiency rads done buy him and were very impressed with them

Thanks all for the tips. I sent it to GM themselves (thanks Paul) as I realised I have an account with them as they do some of my oil coolers. Didn't realise they did rads to (I should have done if I had my head screwed on [|)])
I'll tell you how they get on
