Rear Seatbelts

It may be that the cusions have been altered, take a pic with them all off. :)

I know this is a bit think of me, but I cant work out how its done :I If anyone has a pic of the seats arranged like this I'd be really grateful

Hi Jules, I think if your bench seats could transform to forward facing you would have worked it out by now - it's dead easy if it's there. This was a feature of the Autosleeper and I think yours is a different conversion :I

You may be kindly over-estimating my grey matter. Anyway I will have a double check on Monday to make sure my seats do/dont do it, now that I'm armed with the pic (thanks Chris)

This is also an issue I will have to overcome in the future, sounds like a good idea to have 2 seats behind driver and passeger which collapse to form bed/s (credit to bazil for that 1). At the moment my to are in child seat and booster seat and both need anchoring well. plenty to think about here, great to see your ideas.

To avoid the 3rd point mounting somewhere over the shoulder I was thinking about having something like this harness below fixed over and down to the rear of the seat:

As long as the seat was solid it would work a treat. Could even incorporate a mechanism to allow the seat to fold forwards, or even fold back flat as part of the bed (Have the harness go between the seat and cushion). This is what I will probably end up doing in mine.

Bazil, will you make some seats or adapt some old ones? looks like a plan to me, but wouldn't suit my youngests baby seat which needs 3 point system, but like i say by the time i'm at this stage they will be visting me in the old folks home :(

My two boys are on booster seats (they are 6 and 5 years) and it should work ideal with boosters. The lap part would go under the lap hook parts as normal and the straps over the shoulders.

I am guessing you have a full seat for the youngest? One where the vehicle belt is fastened permanently behind the seat and the child seat has it's own belt?

yeah thats right, but to be honest she may well be in a booster before long anyway. The race harness does look like a good idea.
