Dont be tempted to weld the leaves together Aus, its bloody dangerous and should fail the Mot.
Flipping the axle is probably the easiest route to down but Tim ( commeracer ) is the man to talk to.
Ok.i will have a look around too as want to see other vans and there ride heights! Will have a clamber under there and see what's best.i will to it properly and develop a new method at the same time I think.watch this space ;-)
flipping the axle will mean the diff will have oil issues because the sump for the oil will now be at the top of the axle. Not the best idea. just extend the spring hangers 2 inches for every inch you want to go down.
It,s a bit of a misleading term Dan, but flipping means putting it the other side of the springs, not turning it upside down, that won,t work unless you want 4 reverse gears
"You,re only supposed to blow the bloody SLIDING doors off"
Yups axle onto the top of the springs is the best way it keeps all the oem geometry and spring and rebound rates .
just remember to fit shorter bump stops
