rear door handle

Thanks for trying, yes , if my door is locked I have to open both doors to get out . I wonder if the fact that I cant take the key out when unlocked was some sort of security measure for delivery vans so the door wasnt left open? (or its just bug##red!)

Maybe its got a different barrel fitted - is the same key used for cab and rear doors?

no its a small fs union key, the same as my old rapier boot key. I have a door key an ignition key and this back door key, is this normal?

If everything was original the door keys should be the same, I wonder if yous has been fitted with a barrel from another Rootes group car. Can you remember if the key got stuck in the Rapier boot if it wasn't locked ?

No :I, But you might have something there, its just strange if the lock has been changed as it was a 30000 1 owner van before I got it, maybe someone tried to break in to it causing the lock to be changed (interesting theory)

I still have all the keys on the ring that came with Frodo, I am pretty sure that at least 4 on there do nothing! Haven't counted how many there are, but over 10 I'm sure. I should get rid of a load of them and improve the mpg!
