Rear bumper

Hello,
I've just re-fitted Jessica's rear bumper as it was "removed" in an accident before she came to us. It all went on fine ,had to drill some extra holes in the corner valance where the accident repair had covered over the 1/4 bumper holes. When I looked at it from the inside I got the horrible feeling that something was missing. Should there be anything else on the ends of the bumper irons? Another mounting maybe? (see the circled bit)

yup those should definitely get to the chassis ultimately!

I sold a pair to Ray for Wilma's back bumper many moons ago!
 
oh dear :( should it meet up with hte same bolts that hold the rest of the bumper on? Anyone got any piccies?

I think I'll probably make and extra bit to bolt to the chassis and bolt that on to the bits that have been cut off.

Rupert, I can get you a photo of this...however Tanya won't be back home with the camera until tomorrow night...unless someone else can get one before then I will do it on her return.
