Re-spray.

Hi I just wondered if anyone new how much it will cost to re-spray my camper? Secondly I have had the earth strap looked at all seems to be working fine, the mechanic told me there was no problem, and the wire probably shorted on something it was touching. I am still having problems with getting my roof up-any suggestions. Thanks

I've not had any experience but I reckon a decent respray would probably cost at least a couple of grand, preparation is everything and you pay for it.
I suspect your roof should be fitted with gas struts or spring assist of some description - if they are missing or weak then you'll have trouble pushing the weight of the roof up.

I've just looked at some of the pics you posted of your roof , I think the ends of the support frame should push further into the corners of the canvas and will then lock in place. Is there anywhere on the main rail of the frame where a locking pin would fit?
