Rapier twin carb 'ally' 1725 with ancillaries

Bought this one as a spare in case our Holbay turned out to be junk, but luckily it was not required.

Appears to be OK but has not been tested. It turns over by hand and comes complete with twin carbs, exhaust manifold and flywheel etc.

I'm awaiting to hear back from Jim on his plans but he was dead keen and we confirmed at CommerFest.

Our Commer is Hunny, who is currently away at Woolfy's being restored - she could be back with us soon and you'd be welcome to pop by once she is.

Recently heard the sad news from Jim that Bumble has been written off and therefore he no longer requires this engine.

When new the alloy headed/twin carb setup delivered approx 88bhp, compare this to the standard Commer 56bhp

(To clarify this is not a Holbay)

A courier might work out cheaper but if it helps, I could possibly bring to Woolfy's meet but would need to add-on hire cost of a small van (approx £70) - the diesel would be free
