radiator bracket

Hi ive got my rad out at the moment and on the side of it is what looks like a linkage for a carb but its not connected to anything is this surpluses because of my SU conversion ???

On the Near side? If so then yes uts not needed as you have an SU

I sorted my garage into 4 piles of stuff.
1. Stuff I`m keeping
2. Stuff I`m not getting rid of.
3. Stuff I might use..one day.
4. Stuff that might come in handy.
