I am with the RAC breakdown, get you home breakdown service for which I pay £95.40 per year but when my credit card details arrived this week I noticed a payment of £20.00 to RAC Motoring service. I have just called RAC to find out what this payment was for and apparently it is a fee for legal services,if you need them,and it is seperate from the breakdown service. I am sure that I have never agreed to this and do not recall having any notification from RAC so it looks like I will be changing my breakdown recovery service. Who do you recommend from experience?

I've been a member for years but cancelled it as my new insurance includes the equivalent breakdown cover.

Classic Insurance with Peter James includes breakdown cover. I also have AA cover for the modern. Never had a problem with either.

Good old AA have rescued me twice now in my morris minor (on one occasion fabricating a part from a long boltto get me home) and once in the commer (on the day i bought and collected it!)
Always been excellent and its me thats insured not the car so i can be in any car, even a friends, for just one payment.
