Quarterlights help

Been trying to fit the replacement glass to the quarterlight today - and I have a question - is there more than one type of glass fitted to the quarterlights? Or did they differ between dodges and commers?

The one I was trying to fit just didn't quite seem to fit right, and of course I put too much stress on it and it broke as well..... [:(!]

So, did I have the right glass? I know the doors are different between a commer and dodge - but are the quarterlights the same or different?

So, anyone got a quarter light, or just the glass to sell me? I need it for next week, if possible.

Cheers

Andy

Andy,

Maybe get some perspex and cut a temporary one for now?

I have 2 complete 1/4 lights from a PB that I am hoping to put in Smurf but I don't know if they will fit as I too have heard they are different, If they don't fit they will be spare, but it won't be in time for next week. Does anyone know for definate if they are different??

Hmmm, I think I am just going to wrap it in polythene for now.

How thick is the glass on the sidelights. I might have a look for some perspex next week, but to be honest, the quarterlight frames are so shot - nothing is left of the bottom of the frame on the passenger door

Dave wasn't keen to do it commercially; even his pair were different from one another!
