Project Wanderer

He specialises in Arrows Rootes/Chrysler cars. I've bought some bits off him for my old Vogue. He's a decent bloke, a bit of a character but I'd happily buy from him again. But not this, no room or skills.

Thank you so much! I was very lucky to have grown up in a commer highwayman, and mum still has her! So we’ve the best guide we could wish for! We would never have been able to have afforded one in good condition so have to work our way up .
She’s hopefully being delivered to us on Tuesday! I’m absolutely over the moon to have her!
We’ve named her monkey ☺️

Brilliant. Martin of commervanspares makes panels, chassis bits, exhhausts etc and speedyspares is useful and I’m sure others will add... :)

My mum adores Martin and holds him in very high regard! Hopefully we will give him lots of business! X

Hi Bubble and welcome to the Madhouse :)
Brilliant that you're following the family tradition and you new van actually looks quite solid from the pics on the eBay listing - obviously lots of primer painted on but hopefully it's over decent metal. Wanderers are a great conversion and I'm sure you will be happy with it. Do we know you mum and van? maybe she's on here:)

Hello love! Thank you for the kind welcome, Monkey seems to have quite solid bodywork surprisingly! (We thought for the price she would be more hole than chassis!)
You probably do know mum (Sue mickleborough) and her commer highwayman Connie :)

I know the name but I don't think we've met. There'll be a few of us up at Moffat this weekend
