Problems refitting my grill surround.

Hi I've put my grill back on but I can't get the surround to stay in place. I think it might need to be straightened. Has anyone got any ideas?

It can be fiddly:I Start with the top piece making sure the turned up edge on little square clips is facing upwards and push the grille edge down onto them, it might need a little persuasion with the flat of your hand to 'click' them in place. It should stay in place while you do the same with the bottom piece. I must admit the bottom section on both my vans is held on with a couple of self tappers going right through so it makes it easier[8)] Then fit the corner pieces, these seem to hold everything together.

Sorted, I've put the surround back on. I can now take it for a run and show it off.

Yes, I waited two weeks roughly then finished painting her. I wanted to wait longer but I don't know how many more sunny days were going to get with autumn round the corner. I'm gonna take some pictures tomorrow, and do a bit of tidying up where the masking tape let me down. I'm so pleased, it's taken me three years but it's almost done. Next challenge is to service her myself.
