Problems logging on

Apple stuff does seem to have issues on occasions when posting to 'normal' websites - photos are often upside down for instance.
Maybe this issue is another incarnation of that problem?

I have no issues with my Android mobile devices or 'normal' PC.
 
we cant access the forum at all from home and we are on bt
yet no problems at work and thats also bt
cant comment on android or apple or any of that hi tec stuff as we dont have it
so obviously hardly contribute any more
 
Another thing to mention, though I think you know, it that it's ONLY the forum element of the site the rest of the site works fine. Wondering if that part of the site isn't quite configured correctly?
 
jims correct it is only the forum element,what we get when trying to access is

Can read and comment but not having luck uploading .jpg files this evening... got some piccies on my basic replacement job that I was going to share...

I can log on and read all forums but can't post any thing.I have tried since before Easter to put an Eversure comer roof rack for sale on forum.
I can print it on screen but can't post it.
 
Panky. Yes. Just uploading pictures I am having trouble with. As I said it's any device, also home Internet or connectivity off the phone.

It could be that the files are too big if you are down-loading straight from you device. I usually put my pics on Photobucket and copy them over from there.
Try sending the picture file to me and I'll have a go.

we are not trying to load files we just cant access the forum from home
somewhere there is a problem lurking.needs a techbod methinks
dont want years of great chat and hardwork to dissapear but how many newbies are dissapearing as they have no access
anyway we miss you all!!!!!

Steve and Rich we should be resolved now - what you really need to do to ensure your machines are looking at the new server is to refresh properly (on a PC you do this by pressing Ctrl and F5 at the same time when you have tried forum.commervanfan.co.uk) if that doesn't work it would be worth clearing your browser cache a google of whatever browser you use and that term should give step by step instructions e.g. "clear browser cache internet explorer"
I really hope that has you back here ok, it seems that there were some crossed wires
 
Thank goodness - with rich steve AND Chris unable to function properly I felt something needed to be done :)
