Previous owners

Just wanted to share a nice story!
I rang one of the previous owners of Lucy yesterday (we had the gentlemans details from the extensive history that came with the van).
Sadly he passed away in 2009 but his wife was really pleased to talk to me, in fact she said it had made her day (and mine too!). Health problems had meant they had to sell her but they were very sad to let her go.
They had owned Lucy for over 20 years and she had some great memories, she also told me the significance of the number plate.
She said she would like to see some photos of her now so I sent a couple in the post to her today.

The 'J' is for Janette who is the couple's daughter, 'F' is Frank who bought Lucy, 'M' is Myra his wife and the reg year 'T' is their surname Turner. All purely coincidental but very significant to them.
She told me that when Frank first came home with the van he wondered if he had done the right thing but Myra said it's meant to be our van look at the number plate!
