Poole Quay is very nice indeed with lots of really nice little restaurants, always lots to see and do...lots of boat trips from the Quay including to Brownsea Island...the only place where Red Squirrels remain wild and in abundance.....
Great pics Colin and makes me want to visit Poole - we've never been and it looks lovely [8D]
The Quay area is truly lovely....Poole town centre which lays just behind is just like any other town centre really, but within a short drive, there are so many beautiful beaches, like Sandbanks for example...the area there is one of the most expensive places to live in the world....lots of celebrities hide away here. The beautiful beaches of Bournemouth....Corfe castle.....You can take a short ferry to Swanage, once again beautiful...take a steam train ride....even the New Forest is only half an hour away.....well worth a holiday here and I'm very lucky to live here
Yes every Sunday from 4.30pm from May to September and also at Mudeford Quay every 2nd Sunday from 2pm ...If you go to the Mudeford meet, most folk then join a convoy to the Bournemouth meet[8D]
