Power for adding extras

Now I have been told this but can’t remember on which post so though I’d start a new one. So take a new cable from coil to a fuse.
I think mine has special wires. The ‘red’ goes to distributor so is neutral? So the ‘blue’ is live? So I can add a spade to the spare one for my new power cable? Please thank you

Blue +ve side of coil goes to live (ignition switch) and red -ve to distributor.

Cool thanks Martin. I can add another wire from that for stereo etc to reduce overloading factory wiring
