First, you need to get your pictures on the web.
Go to www.photobucket.com or www.flickr.com and open up an account with them,it will cost you nothing except for a little time.

You will be asked to upload your pictures to the site. Follow the instructions, once you have chosen which ones to use.

What you need to do once your pictures are on the site is:- Keep your pictures open, and minimize the photobucket.com or flickr.com window to your menu bar at bottom of your screen, and then open up the forum.commervanfan.co.uk site.

Open a New Topic like you did to write your opening letter, and put in your text.

When you get to the point where you want to add a photo, you open the www.photobucket.com site, then RIGHT CLICK on the photo you want to add,and select PROPERTIES from the menu.
From the pop-up, copy the adress (url) by selecting the text, right-click copy. Close off the properties.

Now minimize the www.photobucket.com site again.
Now all you do is hit the
icon_editor_image.gif
button where you want to place the picture, and select PASTE the URL between the tags that appear.

Pam, I find the easiest way is to set up a free photobucket acccount. Upload the photos to it then all you do is click on the 4th link attached to each picture and paste straight into a post on here without using the button shown in the above post. Preview your reply before submitting just to check.

how do you get to do the picture on your signature[?] i have gone on photobucket and done a resize on one of my pics but when i paste it on my profile then preview it, it comes out the full size:I:D

When you go to your album in photobucket, do not click on and open the image you want, but right click on the thumbnail image and go to properies etc as you would for the full size image. It will then copy the thumbnail image rather than the full picture.

Hope this helps.

When you click on properties it should open a new pop-up window in the top left hand corner. You then highlight the URL address and copy (control+c).

You have obviously captured the image, but now you need it to appear in your signature. On your profile page there is a box for signature. Either end of your picture URL you should see (IMG) in square brackets, not curved like here (if I use square it will not show in this post) If it is missing the picture will not show and you will just get the text.

Hi Mark, if you type this [ img ][/ img ] into your signature and copy the URL from the thumbnail between the two middle ][ the picture will be posted.
I've put a spaces in for demonstation purposes otherwise it shows up as a red X on here.
Type the brackets, / and letters in without spaces.
