Possible sale of Wilma (Razor7)

i am so pleased that you are going to keep wilma. i can honestly say she is def my fav van - (no i am not doing a brucie - strictly come dancing joke!:)) after looking for ages (well what seemed like ages in fact was only a few months!) for a van, my hubby started, dare i say it, considering looking at vw's (don't tell him i told you;)) and it was looking at pics of wilma that kept me determined to find a commer. she is a total credit to you.

actually,i have been meaning for ages to ask what colour blue wilma is, does it have a specific name? if we ever get round to respraying chico, wilma is def the colour i would like.

roll on the summer, everything always feels better then:D

Thanks for the kind words. Glad you found a Commer in the end. My wife Kerrie was very specific and did not want a VW either. (Where we live in Cornwall they are everywhere!? - too many sheep! - BAA!) We took a few months to find her, and like you Kerrie wasn't that patient either?!:D

She was orginally this colour (or something similar), so we had her sprayed Triumph blue.

You're right about the summer...as long as we get one!!

As yet, no-one has really come forward to buy her yet anyway.

I don't really know you razor, but you have a fab van in Wilma.. agree totally with everyone, don't sell!!!!!!!

So fantastic too to see so much support coming from everyone on here.:D

We have 4 boys, and no, the commers aren't the biggest campers in the world, but the boys would not swap it for anything else and i'm sure after many happy summers, rain or shine they will have happy commer memories forever. My hubby has, from when his dad owned one when he was a child.

BMM solution with the bunks is a good one and so simple, and grad the bunk from Martin quick lol!!!

Cazz & I would be first in the queue to buy Wilma and if it was 6 months ago we would be ripping your arm off for her! If I'm 100% honest, when we bought Smurfette I wasn't convinced we had done the right thing, she wasn't quite what my childhood dreams were aiming me towards! My dream is a PA just like the one my dad had.

However, although we have only had Smurfette for such a short period of time, Cazz,myself and our 4 boys would never ever, ever sell her, she has brought back SO many fond memories to me and I so want to try and emulate that to our boys.

My Dad is even like a kid with a new toy now we have Smurfette, I guess she brings back floods of memories fot him too.

Like it or not Commers arer a dying breed and in Wilma you have one of the very best examples there is, Could you bare the pain of worrying about her whereabouts and careabouts once you hand that V5 over?

Please don't sell her, buy a 2nd van and have 2wice as much fun & memories, that's possibly the way Cazz & I will go.

I agree with Cazz the support from everyone is quite loverly;)

However our names of Cazz & Enigma have been around a long time and are in fact a lot to do with how we met:)
