On BBC1 this morning there was a debate about is this country too full re immigrants.........ALL of the interviewees were of foreign decsent.I won't say anymore because although I do not consider myself to be racist...this topic really makes my blood boil[:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!][:(!]

I don't really understand.. Everyone was all very nice to me when I lived in England from 1994 to 2003. No one told me to sod off back to Norway, strangely enough. :I

Most level-headed people don't have a problem with immigrants who come here to work/pay taxes etc, it's the 'other' type that people dislike.

Will I get a (partial) UK pension when I reach retirement age? That's what I want to know.

Oh goodness a hot topic for our little forum!

I have friends from Oz and NZ who have probably paid more taxes over here in the last 11 years than some other people I know.

Anyone see the documentary on benefits? 20 years man and wife on benefit, had 6 kids, was asked why don't they work "well for minimum wage I'm only a few quid better off each week, and really I want to see my children grow up so what's the point?" yes I'm sure many many people would love to see their children grow up but they work
 
How can anyone be offended by the poppy, its to remember the men/women from all sides who did what their goverments ordered,as its the politicians that cause the wars not the service men/women.
 
well it seems Seb Blatter is offended by the poppy - ordering the ref to abandon the game if england turn up with poppys on their shirts - they have said it might set a precedent and upset germany if we ever played them around 11/11 - no one actually asked the germans who have come out in support of england - saying they have no objection to england wearing a poppy - lets remember the poppy commemorates ALL that lost their life in war - not just the brits!!

may Seb Blatters next turd be a hedgehog! (lets not forget he comes from a family that made its fortune from dealing in the Nazi gold raised from the genocide of the jews) - I hope england make a stand and wear their poppys with pride, its only a friendly and it will let the world know we care deeply about our dead servicemen

I have personally received a large amount of help from military charities - including the Royal British legion, Royal Naval association & combat stress and can without doubt state they are all non political non religious entity's - man this has made me soooooooo angry! grrrrrrrr

the england players should wear there poppys with pride[^] and stuff fifa[V][:(!][}:)] so what if the game gets called off its only yet another friendly:p
