I know very little about commer campers, but are their pop tops similar to the ones on VW's?

Can you put a canvas bed on just like in the VW's?
 
Hi Matt, the type of pop-top depends on which converter put the van together and they usually offered roof bunks. My autosleeper has a solid sided elevating roof and is fitted with the optional canvas bunk but there is provision for two if required. It is actually supposed to be a five berth, very cosy with the usual double made up from bench seats and table, the front bench seat also folds down to make another double (although the steering wheel gets in the way somewhat). Another camper I had years ago had a bunk that stretched out over the cab seats and was seperated from the main part of the camper by a curtain, the kids loved it and you could pack them of to bed and stay up yourselfe.
