You can now PM on the site - users should have a "Private Messages" link at the top of the page and names have a red PM on them too.

This will not send email but all be contained on the site so will not poke someone into action alas

There's a way around annoying ads - Adblocker. I downloaded one and goodbye to them all - including those on Yahoo, Ebay and forums that do hit you with ads
